From Intern, to Employee

Securing an internship at numidia ltd, during my MA in Digital Media, was a pivotal moment, igniting my passion for do-good organisations. The role immediately stood out among the others. Numidia ltd’s lived ethos of diversity and mental health first is what drew me to the role.

I enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to improve on my skillset. My internship focused on content creation and admin. 

A standout achievement was being made Account Lead for one of their main clients, MALVAC, during my internship. This experience solidified my passion for content creation, social media strategy and collaborating with like-minded individuals. This experience improved my presentation skills and confidence. It enabled me to experience corporate-esque work and showcase my knowledge to clients.

Beyond core responsibilities, I cultivated a growth mindset by actively seeking challenges. Volunteering for additional projects, shadowing experienced colleagues, and attending workshops on organising the workplace and HubSpot.

As my internship concluded, a profound admiration for the company's mission and values had taken root. Fortunately, my dedication and contributions were recognized, leading to a rewarding offer as a freelance employee. The seamless transition from intern to employee was attributed to the solid foundation established during my internship. Equipped with in-depth knowledge of the company culture, processes,and team dynamics, I confidently embraced new responsibilities. I am immensely grateful for the platform provided by numidia ltd to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to the company's success and their clients.
